TVE programs don’t just prepare students for trades—they can also serve as a launchpad for various other professions. For example:

  • Culinary Arts to Dietitian: A student who completes the Culinary Arts program might discover a passion for nutrition and use their skills as a foundation for becoming a dietitian. The hands-on experience in food preparation and ingredient knowledge sets them up for further studies in nutrition science, food management, or even food entrepreneurship.

  • Welding to Engineering: Similarly, a student who excels in Welding Technology may be inspired to pursue a career in mechanical or materials engineering. Their practical experience with metalwork and fabrication gives them a strong base for understanding material properties, preparing them for advanced studies and roles in product design, construction engineering, or research and development.
There are many diverse situations where TVE is a complement to your chosen career path.
