Social Studies
The Social Studies Department provides our students with engaging and stimulating learning experiences as they work towards assisting our students in meeting the learning outcomes as outlined within Manitoba Education’s approved curriculums.
Graduation from the Province of Manitoba requires that all students have a completed Social Studies credit at the Grade 9, 10, and 11 levels. The respective courses at each grade level are as follows:
- Grade 9 – Canada in the Contemporary World 10F
- Grade 10 – Geographic Issues of the 21st Century 20F
- Grade 11 – History of Canada 30F (This course is required for the Manitoba Regular English Diploma)
