Band Happenings
SVRSS Concert Band students will take part in the Parkland-Norman Honor Band in Dauphin March 7-9. The rehearsals and clinics will culminate in a public concert under the direction of guest conductors at the DRCSS in Dauphin at 1:00 pm Sunday, March 9. Good luck to our students as they represent our school's band program!
Under the direction of Mark Matejka, SVRSS Jazz Band students will participate in the Brandon University Jazz Festival March 13-15. They will perform at the Lorne Watson Recital Hall in the QE II Music building 10:00am Friday, Mar 14. They will also receive adjudication and clinic on their performance by pro jazz musicians and educators, and attend pro concerts! Wish our Jazz Band luck as they represent our band program at BUJF!
