Whitefish Fishing Trips

Whitefish Monster

On March 13th and 14th grades 5-8 went fishing to Whitefish Lake. They were both beautiful days with the weather being about a low of -4 and high of +3 degrees Celsius and with little to no wind. The first day was slow at the start but before lunch there were two northern pike caught. By the end of the day, there were two more northern pike and one walleye with the one pike being 32 inches long. On the second day, there were also only two northern pike caught before lunch but the first pike was 35 and a half inches long. Those were the only two caught all day. However, students had a lot of fun on a hill and in the snow. Thanks to those that helped out to make these trips a success!
